We enjoy re-seating an antique most of all. Bringing a good old chair back into daily use is the best work there is.

We work by hand. Preparing the material, weaving the seat strand by strand, packing and finishing, step by step, with patience. It is rhythmic, absorbing work, and that is where the difference from a machine-made seat lies.

We match each seat to the chair. The material, the weave and the pattern all matter. We advise and weave what suits the chair, honestly and without fuss.
